On November 15, 2021, Lydia Dutton was reappointed to the Embalmers and Funeral Directors Board for a three-year term.
The Embalmers and Funeral Directors Board of Newfoundland and Labrador (the Board) regulates the practice of the profession within Newfoundland and Labrador and may include the following duties: the preparation and submission of an annual report; prescribing fees; making by-laws; making regulations (subject to the approval of the Minister of Digital Government and Service NL); conducting inspections; granting licenses; and matters related to discipline.
