On July 25, 2018 Heather Tizzard was appointed as the Chief Procurement Officer for a six-year term effective August 13, 2018.
The Chief Procurement Officer leads the Public Procurement Agency in providing procurement oversight for the public bodies in the province, including municipalities, health boards, school boards, academic institutions, crown corporations and government.
