On November 19, 2018, the following people were appointed to the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals for three-year terms:

- Douglas Wright
- Joshua Fisher
- William Jeffery
- Dr. Debbie Brake-Patten
The Council is responsible for governing the regulation of the following seven health professional groups: Acupuncturists, Audiologists, Speech Language Pathologists, Dental Hygienists, Medical Laboratory Technologists, Midwives, and Respiratory Therapists.
