On February 4, 2019, the following people were appointed to the Council of Newfoundland and Labrador College of Optometrists for three-year terms:
- John Bruce Burton
- Rosemary Wynn Lester
The purpose of the Council is to ensure that persons working in this health profession have the appropriate academic credentials and competencies for entry to practice.
